Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Certified Special Education Teacher, with valid credentials
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 1–4)
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting student growth and adapting teaching strategies to meet a range of needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to small groups and individualized support as appropriate
• Implement IEPs and monitor student progress, modifying approaches as necessary
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
