Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Our Sensors Test Engineering team in Burnsville Minnesota is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (P3) who possesses a BSSE or BSCpE degree to join our team of experienced engineers and technicians supporting production. As a member of our team, you will lead in defining, designing, developing, troubleshooting, and integrating innovative test software onto test solutions supporting commercial and military and defense sensor products. A successful candidate will be an expert individual contributor, curious to solve problems, and driven to complete deliverables for our customers.WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will lead researching, designing, developing, and testing software solutions, and networks as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting software & electrical devices problems on the production line.You will support in providing strategic guidance for engineering regarding design concepts and requirements to best utilize equipment and coding techniques across test engineering.You will work in a collaborative team environment and be able to communicate effectively with engineers, operators, and technicians.You will design and review major components or major portions of functional test software and present findings to the team. You will develop processes, procedures, and best practices for test software design and development in a manufacturing environment.You will present project and or technical information to peers, internal management, and customers as part of design reviews.WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: You will gain knowledge to adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
