Lateral Associate - Corporate Finance

Job Overview A law firm seeks a lateral associate to join their Finance team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in debt finance, with a preference for those familiar with private equity acquisition finance and oil- and gas-related transactions. Duties Assist in structuring and negotiating finance transactions. Represent borrowers in various financial dealings. Collaborate with team members on complex finance matters. Requirements Experience in debt finance at a peer firm. Familiarity with private equity acquisition finance preferred. Experience with oil- and gas-related transactions desired. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certification Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
