Location: Timberlake, NC (onsite) Schedule: Full-time | Exempt ## About the RoleVoltage is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. You’ll collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to optimize workflows, resolve challenges, and support a rapidly growing manufacturing operation.## What You’ll Do* Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process documentation.* Analyze production workflows to identify and implement efficiency improvements.* Establish labor standards and process cycle times.* Support process validation and production readiness activities.* Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process-related issues.* Investigate defects and implement corrective actions to improve quality.* Support daily production operations to enhance throughput and performance.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability and reduce waste.* Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events.* Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime.* Maintain manufacturing records, BOMs, and engineering change documentation.* Analyze production data and develop reports to support decision-making.* Support ERP transactions and manufacturing system updates.* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.## What We’re Looking For* Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.* 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.* Experience supporting production environments (wire harness, electrical assembly, automotive, or similar preferred).* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.* Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.* Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.* Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.## Why Join Us?* Be part of a fast-growing manufacturing operation in the renewable energy space.* Work cross-functionally on impactful, process-driven initiatives.* Opportunity to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.## Additional InformationApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. The Company will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visa, including without limitation, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN status, or I-485 job portability or similar immigration processes.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity, fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees thrive.### About UsVoltage is a fast-growing company in the renewable energy industry, specializing in innovative electrical balance of system (EBOS) solutions for utility-scale solar projects.
