We serve a high-volume patient base, including veterans and post-surgical patients, delivering results-driven, compassionate care in a professional medical environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, patient-focused, and proactive Patient Care Coordinator to join our team full-time. This role is essential in ensuring seamless patient flow, exceptional customer service, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced clinical setting.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in communication, and thrives in a structured medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients (in-person, phone, and digital communication)
- Manage scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow for a high-volume clinic (20–30 patients/day)
- Coordinate new patient intake , documentation, and EMR entry (Jane App or similar)
- Assist with insurance-related processes , including VA patients, referrals, and authorizations
- Ensure all patient records are accurate, complete, and compliant
- Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient care and scheduling needs
- Handle front desk operations , payments, and financial coordination
- Support administrative workflows including document uploads, tracking, and follow-ups
- Maintain a professional, calm, and welcoming environment for all patients
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a medical office, wellness clinic, or similar setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient coordination
- Experience with EMR systems (Jane App preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with VA patients or insurance processes is highly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
- Fluent in Medical Billing
