You will work in a collaborative environment providing administrative support for the Underwriting department. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday with a schedule of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This is a fully onsite position based in Tampa, FL. All employees in Personal Lines whose essential job function includes but is not limited to direct communication with customers and/or agents, must hold a valid Resident State Insurance license and be able to obtain and maintain reciprocal licensing for all 50 states within the continental United States.Responsibilities:Provides excellent customer service to agents and policyholders in a moderate to high-volume call center environmentProcesses corrections or adjusts records when needed, following the appropriate company guidelinesReviews, organizes, and forwards information to be escalated for resolution as neededAdheres to the established productivity and quality metrics establishedOther tasks and projects as may be assignedIn this role, you may be required to work extended hours and weekends to support business operations during a catastrophe, such as a hurricane affecting Safepoint's policyholdersEssential Functions:Use telephone and computer systems to communicate with and service customersUse computer system to research information on risksAbility to take at least 50 phone calls per dayAbility to adhere to regular attendance schedule on-siteAbility to obtain and maintain resident Property & Casualty insurance licensing through the Florida DFS, and reciprocal licenses in all 50 states in the continental United StatesQualifications:Min 1 year of Property & Casualty Insurance experienceProperty and Casualty Insurance licenses required (4-40 or 20-44)Passion for customer serviceAdvanced computer skills and insurance systems knowledgeProficiency with Microsoft Office products requiredEnglish - Spanish Bilingual skills is a plusDemonstrated customer service focus requiredExcellent communication skills with ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external personnel and partnersAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentResults driven with strong problem solving and analytical skillsDetail-oriented and exceptionally organizedCompensation and Benefits: We recognize that talented professionals are attracted to companies that provide a great place to work, combined with a comprehensive and competitive pay and benefits package, along with opportunities for personal growth and job advancement.
