Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care in the operating room environment. The RN will assist with various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare the OR for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Document patient care and surgical interventions accurately in medical records.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety standards throughout surgeries.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and support patient recovery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of OR or surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating room protocols and sterile techniques.
• Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Be adaptable to a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts and weekends.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification in perioperative nursing or related specialty is a plus.
