Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to established menus and portion sizes.
2. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and serving areas, including utensils and equipment.
3. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
4. Assist with inventory management by receiving and storing food supplies properly.
5. Provide courteous and efficient service to students and staff during meal times.
6. Set up and break down serving stations, ensuring all items are stocked and organized.
7. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic manual dexterity to handle food preparation and serving tasks.
• Capability to stand for extended periods during meal service.
• Knowledge of proper sanitization and food safety practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or cafeteria environment.
• Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe).
