Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing personalized physical therapy treatment plans that align with each patient's unique recovery goals and needs.
• Monitor patient progression meticulously, documenting observations and reporting updates to the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure accurate tracking of improvements.
• Instruct patients on proper techniques for exercises and functional activities, ensuring they receive the highest level of guidance in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout therapy sessions, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to accommodate individual circumstances.
• Collaborate daily with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive care, sharing insights that can optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations, hospital policies, and state licensing standards, maintaining the integrity of patient confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; an Associate's Degree from an ABA-approved PTA program is highly preferred.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory prior to commencing employment.
• Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
