DLJ Spectacles Inc is looking for a passionate and personable Optical Sales Associate to join our team in Bay Shore, NY! In this role, you'll help customers find the perfect eyewear while delivering an exceptional in-store experience. If you love fashion, vision care, and connecting with people, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical accessories tailored to their needs and style
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire eyewear selection and purchasing process
- Explain lens options, coatings, and upgrades to customers to maximize satisfaction
- Maintain attractive frame displays and ensure showroom is organized and well-stocked
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals
- Handle customer inquiries, adjustments, repairs, and follow-ups professionally
- Prior experience in optical sales, retail sales, or a customer-facing role preferred
- Knowledge of eyewear brands, lens technology, and optical terminology is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
