Your role will involve a combination of driving and warehouse duties. About Frank’s The Flooring Store Family owned business 30 stores across the North East Over 200,000 sq ft of warehousing Room for progression within the business for ambitious and dedicated staff Job Purpose To operate and control the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse and stores, ensuring safe, efficient and timely deliveries to branches and customers. Main Responsibilities Driving Duties: Deliver carpets, vinyl, laminate, LVT and other flooring products to stores and customers Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, on time and in line with company standards Load and unload vehicles safely, securing stock correctly Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects Maintain a clean and professional vehicle presentation Provide friendly and professional customer service at delivery points Warehouse Duties Control stock and maintain accurate stock levels Quality control of incoming and outgoing goods Communicate effectively with fitting teams and store colleagues Manual handling of heavy goods Re-roll carpets Stock entry (computer skills required) Keep warehouse areas clean, organised and safe Key Skills & Requirements Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Previous multi-drop delivery experience (preferred but not essential) Confident and responsible driver Friendly and engaging personality Helpful and polite manner Excellent communication skills Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting Reliable, punctual and well organised Hours 38 hours per week 45 minute unpaid lunch break If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a strong team, and want to build a career with a growing North East family business then we’d love to hear from you.
