Inventory Clerk

About this position Xpedient is a full-service 3rd party logistics provider. We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs. Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for conducting cycle counts and tracking inventory within the facility. This role requires strong attention to accuracy, control, monitoring, and coordination to verify inventory levels and investigate count discrepancies. The Inventory Clerk may also assist with shipping, receiving, and production duties as directed by a supervisor. Roles and Responsibilities Perform daily cycle counts Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy Research inventory discrepancies Work with Warehouse Manager to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner. Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products. Qualifications Previous inventory experience w/WMS systems Basic computer literacy required Previous cycle count experience highly preferred Minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment Safety: Observe and follow health and safety regulations Enforces operating instructions and safety policies. Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures Maintain detailed records of safety incidents Assign designated safety personnel Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
