Sales Manager for Sun Mountain LodgeHotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Sales Manager for Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. Whether your expertise is in corporate meetings, associations, retreats, weddings, or group events, we'd love to hear how you would help grow Sun Mountain Lodge. We're open to candidates who are either Seattle-based or property-based in Winthrop, Washington. We're looking for someone who brings fresh ideas, strong industry relationships, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.What You'll DoDevelop and grow relationships within the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events community.Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.Grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities.Represent Sun Mountain Lodge at industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and networking functions.Develop targeted sales strategies that generate new business and increase revenue.Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through contracting and account management.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.Maintain organized account records, sales activities, and customer profiles.Serve as a passionate ambassador for Sun Mountain Lodge and the Methow Valley.The Ideal Candidate Will BringEstablished relationships within the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events industry.Experience in hospitality, destination, meeting, event, or resort sales.Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Creativity, initiative, and a proactive approach to business development.Strong negotiation and presentation skills.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Previous hotel, resort, destination, meeting, wedding, or event sales experience preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and property visits.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsSalary- $80,168.40 - $95,000.00Bonus PlanInsurance: Medical, dental, vision insurance available for full-time employees and their families; Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance; Supplemental Life Insurance; and Flexible Savings AccountRetirement: After 6 months of employment, employees are eligible to enroll for 401k with up to a 5% company matchPaid Time Off: Vacation Time - 80 hours on your first 3 years of service; Sick Time – 1 hour accrued per 30 hours workedPaid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas DayOther benefits: Career Growth Opportunities/ Manager Training Program, Reduced Room Rates throughout the portfolio, Third Party Perks (Movie Tickets, Attractions, Other), Cell phone allowance, Access to our Talent team to help you reach your career goalsWhy Hotel Equities?At Hotel Equities, we believe hospitality begins with people.
