As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, use technology to document activity, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, vehicles, and/or personal property entering designated areas in accordance with site requirements; identify and report prohibited items, irregularities, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry into restricted logistics and distribution areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
