Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients
• Work independently to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care
• Monitor and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be verified through Nursys
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a high-acuity setting
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rapid admission or high-turnover unit setting
• Familiarity with pre-surgical patient care and preparation
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
