Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Overview

This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Room setting. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Shift Information

This position is for a night shift schedule, requiring three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekends will be required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of charge experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (NRP preferred).

Additional Information

• Total staff beds: 23.
• Charting system used: Epic.
• Parking is available at no cost.
• Standard scrub color: Any color for RN/Allied staff.
• Floating between units is required.

Expected Ratios

The nurse-to-patient ratio is expected to be 1:5.

Employment Type

This position does not approve for 48-hour work weeks.
