Quality Control Inspector

Quality Control Inspector Lingo Staffing is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Trumbull, CT to make sure every product matches customer specs and engineering drawings before it ships. If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy hands‑on inspection work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is a great fit. Pay: $20/hour What You'll Do Inspect finished products against engineering drawings using dimensional and visual checks, then accept or reject based on customer specs Use specialized tools to weigh and measure products, check moisture content of wood, and gauge overall workmanship and reliability Verify finished goods meet all requirements, including stenciling, loose or miscellaneous materials, and special handling like shock/tilt indicators and custom labels Record, track, and update inspection data in the system and help pull reports as needed Review customer designs and share feedback with the Design team Flag nonconformances or inefficiencies to manufacturing and support teams Take part in ISO 9001 audits to keep everything compliant What We’re Looking For 1 year of manufacturing experience or demonstrated proficiency 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred High school diploma or GED Able to read a tape measure down to 1/16\" Comfortable reading engineering drawings to confirm product matches design Solid MS Word and Excel skills, plus the ability to learn proprietary software Strong English communication, written and verbal (bilingual Spanish is a plus) Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment The Details Full-time, hourly On-site in Trumbull, CT, reliable attendance expected #J-18808-Ljbffr
