Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Spokane, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a busy IR lab requiring ARRT (VI) or CCI RCIS certification and at least 1 year of applicable experience.Details\n \n Interventional Radiology unit within a short term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center teaching hospital\n Scrub position supporting a busy IR lab\n Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM\n No floating between units\n On-call required with rotating weekend coverage and one rotating weekly evening\n Weekend coverage required via on-call rotation\n Charting completed in Epic\n No fee for parking\n Requirements\n \n Minimum of 1 year of applicable IR experience as an ARRT (VI) technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist required\n ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience also considered\n ARRT (VI) or CCI RCIS certification required\n BLS certification required\n WA state license required, license required if applicable\n Compact license must be in hand at time of submission\n Epic EMR experience required\n Experience with venous access, central venous access, and vascular closure systems preferred\n Experience with IR procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and angiography preferred\n Experience with fluoroscopy and imaging equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Philips, or Siemens preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, neurological, and cardiac cath lab procedures\n Responsibilities include equipment set up, prepping access sites, room circulating, and maintaining sterile fields during procedures\n Assist with life-threatening arrhythmia recognition and use of rapid response/code teams as needed\n Scrub color for RRT is any color\n Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility\n Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n RTO requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be granted\n Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting\n Former Providence permanent staff may return as travelers after 3 months, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility\n Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius\n First-time travelers considered for this position\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-759764.
