Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. This position involves treating a diverse patient population and assisting with border patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) with floating, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.
• Contract Duration: 17 weeks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients presenting to the ED.
• Manage emergent situations and assist with the treatment of critical patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN License in New York (NY License ONLY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous travel ER experience is mandatory.

Certifications:

• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
• NIHSS certification.
