Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency DepartmentNights 7:00pm–7:00am, every other weekend, available every other holiday if needed.Assignment DetailsContract length: 15 weeks.RequirementsActive New York RN license (single-state, NY is not compact).BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting (2 years preferred).Experience with EPIC charting system.Key clinical skills: IV therapy, respiratory support, neuro/stroke care, cardiac care, emergency/trauma care, and infection control.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an emergency department setting.Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitor and document patient condition and progress.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.Compliance / NotesMust submit RTO/block requests at time of submittal. Orientation: 24 hours.
