Learn more about the facility here: Taos-Picuris Service Unit | Healthcare Facilities Details: Monday through Friday Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients required Duties: Conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans Providing education to patients, families, and the broader community on health and wellness Coordinating referrals to specialty care and ensuring follow-up Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests Prescribing medications following IHS formulary guidelines Supporting quality improvement efforts and adherence to safety protocols Additional Duties: Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time. Requirements: Shall be certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Possess a current, unrestricted state medical license from any of the 50 states or Puerto Rico 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions. Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support. DEA Maintain continuing education/ certification. Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States. Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
