Project Manager/Estimator

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Project Manager / Estimator to manage projects from pre-construction through closeout. This hybrid role is responsible for preparing accurate estimates, securing work, and managing awarded projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing Prepare proposals, budgets, scope clarifications, and value-engineering options Participate in site walks, pre-bid meetings, and internal bid reviews Support project handoff from estimating to operations Project Management Manage landscape construction projects from kickoff through closeout Coordinate crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing documentation Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety Serve as primary point of contact for clients and internal teams Complete punch lists and project closeout documentation Qualifications 3–7+ years of experience in landscape construction Experience in both estimating and project management Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of planting, irrigation, hardscape, and site work Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/PM software Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all possible duties, activities, or responsibilities.
