At North American Fence & Railing Inc., we’re hiring a full-time Project Estimator to create and submit competitive proposals for prospective construction jobs. We’re based in Oakland, CA, but we cover the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Our ideal Project Estimator is bilingual in English and Spanish, but it’s not a requirement. Experience is highly desired, but we’re willing to work with people who have the right drive and motivation to excel. You’ll need: Ability to work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday and serve the San Francisco Bay Area Some training, experience, or familiarity with construction Honest, reliable work ethic and an open mind for learning more Self-starter, low maintenance, "can-do" mentality Computer proficiency Ability to complete high-quality work independently and without supervision Valid driver's license Legal U.S. residency and fluent English communication skills Desire for a permanent, full-time position WHO WE ARE North American Fence & Railing has been delivering superior service for over 20 years, excelling in field operations with an award-winning team. HOW TO APPLY Our Project Estimator is responsible for: Speaking with prospective clients about their projects and documenting the major details Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Producing takeoffs and accurate cost estimates Preparing and submitting proposals Tackling additional duties as assigned If you’re highly detail-oriented, results-focused, and motivated to deliver excellent results for clients, then you could be the Project Estimator we’re looking for!
