1st Shift MIG Welder

Position: Welder

Shift: 1st Shift

• Standard Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Overtime Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:40 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-12:00 PM

• Perform MIG welding on custom stainless steel enclosures (approximately 80% of the role)
• Perform TIG welding as needed (approximately 20% of the role)
• Weld brackets and enclosure components in both vertical and horizontal positions
• Grind, finish, and polish welds to a Grade 4 finish
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete custom fabrication projects
• Assist in the fabrication department during slower welding periods

• Strong MIG welding experience
• Working knowledge of TIG welding
• Experience welding stainless steel
• Ability to grind, finish, and polish welds
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• Ability to work independently on custom, one-off projects

• Experience with mild steel and structural steel
• Flux core welding experience
• Stick welding experience
• Fabrication experience
• Experience working in custom manufacturing environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glencoe, MN.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
