Job Summary: To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of a computed tomography (CT) scanner for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Mentors and takes charge in the absence of the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program
• Licenses & Certifications: Cert Medical Radiologic Tech by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program Cert Computed Tomography Tech by the ARRT
• Work Experience: Five (5) as a staff CT Technologist
• Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence, Writing /Reports
• Proficiencies: P.C.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical, Medical Terms

Work Schedule: Weekends, Flexible, On Call

Equipment Operated: CT Scanner, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
