Currently LNS is looking for a welder for 2nd shift that is capable of performing a variety of welding functions with various types of welding equipment and a variety of metal gauges and the ability to read blueprints. Shift premium of $2.00 for 2nd and 3rd shift operators also included.Requirements:Set up and operate all kinds of welding equipment on any job assignedRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, operations sheets, and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirementsContinual check work to ensure quality of weldAbility to perform heating and cutting operationsQualifications:Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols a mustWelding certificate or diploma preferred or 2 to 3 years of related experience in welding to blueprint specificationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per dayEOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
