Role Overview

A Neurology trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is needed in the Neurology department of a multispecialty clinic in the Bronx, NY 10458.

\n

\n

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 annually

\n

Benefits: Health, vision and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, PTO.

\n

Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. After hours and weekend coverage not required!

\n

Location: Bronx, NY 10458

\n

Setting: Outpatient multispecialty clinic

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Conduct comprehensive neurological histories and physical exams.
\n
• Order and interpret neurological diagnostic tests (MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, lumbar punctures, labs)
\n
• Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, or lumbar punctures (TPI training provided)
\n
• Provide post‑procedure monitoring and patient education
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and clinical staff
\n
• Document encounters using EHR system eClinicalworks
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York
\n
• Active DEA License (or willingness to obtain one)
\n
• 1+ years of Neuro experience as an NP or PA
\n
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required
\n
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
\n
