Clinical Nurse Pre-operative

Role PACU nurse providing direct patient care in a 90-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, specializing in neuro, transplants, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine patients. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; promote patient and family-centered care; educate on post-treatment needs; ensure safety, quality, and compliance; develop and communicate individualized care plans; evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; participate in professional development and cross-training opportunities. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; nursing diploma or associate's degree necessary, bachelor's preferred; no prior experience needed, but critical care or Phase I PACU experience is preferred; strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; Must work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness.
