Staff Embedded Software & Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software using C/C++, bare-metal, and RTOS platforms
Develop and optimize real-time control algorithms for pressure, temperature, motor, and fluid management subsystems
Support embedded software architecture and integration across hardware, firmware, and system interfaces
Investigate and resolve complex hardware and system-level issues through structured debugging and root cause analysis
Create software architecture documentation, requirements, design specifications, and verification protocols

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
4+ years designing and developing embedded software for complex electromechanical products
C/C++ programming on bare-metal and/or RTOS-based platforms
Experience designing embedded control systems with feedback control and real-time algorithms
Demonstrated debugging of complex hardware, firmware, and system-level interactions
Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries such as medical device, aerospace, or automotive

Compensation: $112,900 - $188,100 USD Annual
