About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the month-end close process, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with departments across the organization and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper depreciation methods.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of accounting issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or corporate accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
