We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract position in Salinas, California. The PT will provide rehabilitation services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, functional abilities, and overall independence.

Newer Physical Therapists with less than 1 year of experience may be considered. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team and may occasionally float to a nearby sister facility within walking distance.

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans based on functional needs and rehabilitation goals.

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans appropriately based on clinical response and established goals.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient-centered rehabilitation and discharge planning.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using Net Health and float to a nearby sister facility when needed.

• Active California Physical Therapist (PT) License Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Less Than 1 Year of Physical Therapy Experience Accepted; Skilled Nursing Facility Experience Preferred.

• Strong Clinical Documentation, Time-Management, Communication, and Patient-Care Skills Required.

• Ability to Work Sunday Thursday, Tuesday Saturday, or Monday Friday and Float to a Nearby Sister Facility When Required.

The Physical Therapist will provide compassionate, goal-oriented rehabilitation services designed to improve patient function, mobility, safety, and independence.
