We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support key people operations for an organization in Memphis, Tennessee. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support, daily HR administration, and process coordination across the employee lifecycle. The role will focus on onboarding, benefits support, employee relations, and maintaining accurate HR records while helping ensure consistent HR service delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day human resources operations, including employee documentation, record upkeep, and routine administrative activities.
• Guide new employees through the onboarding process by coordinating paperwork, orientation steps, and required follow-up actions.
• Respond to employee questions and concerns, helping address workplace issues in a respectful and confidential manner.
• Assist with benefits-related processes such as enrollments, updates, and communication with employees regarding available programs.
• Maintain and update information within the HRIS to help ensure employee data remains accurate and current.
• Partner with internal teams to help enforce HR policies, procedures, and compliance-related practices.
• Prepare HR reports, track personnel changes, and organize files to support audits and operational needs.
• Contribute to process improvements within HR operations and provide support for additional employee lifecycle activities as needed.• Experience working in a Human Resources Generalist or comparable HR support position.
• Practical knowledge of employee relations and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Background in HR administration, including employee records management and policy support.
• Hands-on experience coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and employee benefit support processes.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and confidence maintaining accurate employee information.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills in a fast-paced environment.
