Bilingual Spanish Debt Collector / Customer Service

Job Description Guglielmo & Associates, PLLC is a multi-state, debt collection law firm based in Tucson. We are a nationally recognized law firm looking for the brightest and hardest working talent in the industry to continue our competitive edge in the market. We are currently seeing a Bilingual Spanish Debt Collector / Customer Service for our Tucson office. Qualified candidates will have strong background in collections, sales (negotiations) and a willingness to work in a competitive, fast paced environment. Collections experience is not necessary but helpful; bilingual also a plus. We offer competitive pay with commission and bonuses based upon the success of the firm - collector starting pay at $18.00/hr with the potential to earn up to $24.00+/hr in commission and bonus. Full-time benefits after introductory period include Vacation, PTO and Holiday pay. Great medical benefits including dental and vision and 401(k) with the potential for profit sharing. Shifts 8am to 5pm Monday throughFriday. With potential OT Saturdays 10am -2pm. Background Check, Drug Test, and Credit Check - No Felonies. Responsibilities: Comply with office Policies and Procedures Comply with local and national laws and regulation Establish contact with consumers to discuss account matters, including delinquencies and ability to pay based on the appropriate options available to them. Ability to deal with a variety of personalities and scenarios appropriately. Document detailed and accurate notes within our office collection software. Meet or Exceed monthly performance goals and deadlines. Skills: Strong negotiation skills FDCPA knowledge is preferred Effective decision making Strong listening and communication skills Excellent work ethic and attendance Ability to work efficiently on the computer Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Collection or Sales experience Customer Service experience is a plus Ability to meet goals on a daily basis Bilingual (Spanish) No Phone Calls, No Agencies, EOE, Drug-Free workplace.
