divh2Grill Cook/h2pIAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions./ppUnder a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP provides facility services including operations, maintenance, engineering, logistics, construction, grounds, custodial, environmental, safety, safety, access control, events, and food services./ppIAP is seeking a Grill Cook who will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events./ppGeneral Responsibilities:/pulliPrepares, seasons and cooks meats and vegetables using skill in frying, grilling and sauting./liliPrepares, seasons and cooks starches, vegetables and other side hot food items./liliPerforms food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning./liliMeasures and mixes ingredients according to recipe./liliDeep fries, grills and sauts meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing./liliPortions food on serving plates./liliMay select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies and prepare meals for customers requiring special diets./liliMay clean and sanitize workstations and equipment/li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliExperience/Knowledge: High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
