Maintenance Manager

Our client is seeking a safety-focused, results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and reliability efforts for a large fleet of heavy mobile equipment supporting critical production operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on equipment performance, team development, and operational efficiency. What You'll Be Doing Lead all maintenance activities for a fleet of heavy mobile equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Manage equipment repairs, rebuilds, and vendor service relationships. Supervise and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics in a unionized environment. Partner closely with operations leadership to support production goals and minimize downtime. Oversee maintenance inventory, budgeting, and key performance metrics. Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. What We're Looking For 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an industrial, manufacturing, recycling, construction, quarry, steel, or similar environment. Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment repair. Experience utilizing CMMS or maintenance management software. A proactive leader who can build strong relationships, hold teams accountable, and drive continuous improvement.
