This position may be filled at the Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician level based on experience, qualifications, technical capabilities, and certifications. Senior and Master Technician positions may include coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership responsibilities. What You Will Do Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service. Clean customer vehicles after every job. Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and completing diagnostic testing. Proficiently operate Safelite's tools and technologies, including True Seal®, Ezi-Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (as required bv the "Safelite Way of Fitting", work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology. Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday. Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers. Senior and Master Technician levels will serve as a technical resource, support technician development, share best practices, and assist with coaching and mentoring activities. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards What You'll Get Technician: $24.00 - $26.50/hr Senior Technician: $26.50- $29.50/hr Master Technician: $29.00- $32.25/hr A benefits package valued at more than $10k*. Actual compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, geographic market, and internal equity. Education Qualifications High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred Valid state-issued driver's license any other license(s) (as required by federal, state and local laws) to operate a company vehicle. Required Proven experience as an Auto Glass Technician (2+ years preferred) Experience Qualifications Applicants will be considered for Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician placement based on experience, technical capability, certifications, productivity, quality performance, leadership experience, and customer service excellence. Technician: Typical 1+ years of vehicle glass installation, repair, replacement, recalibration, or closely related automotive service experience. Senior Technician: Typical 3+ years of vehicle glass experience with demonstrated technical proficiency, quality performance, and independent operation. Master Technician: Typical 5+ years of vehicle glass experience with advanced technical expertise and demonstrated mentoring, coaching, or training capability. Experience ranges are intended as guidelines and may vary based on qualifications and business needs.
