The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a critical role in delivering compassionate and effective healthcare services to patients, particularly those dealing with substance abuse and behavioral health challenges. This position focuses on providing direct patient care, supporting recovery processes, and educating patients about their health and treatment plans. The LPN collaborates closely with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress, administer medications, and implement care strategies tailored to individual needs. By maintaining detailed patient records and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, the LPN ensures continuity and quality of care. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to improving patient outcomes and supporting long-term recovery within diverse healthcare settings across the United States.Employment Type:Part Time24 hours6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and monitoring vital signsSupport patients through recovery by applying knowledge of substance abuse and behavioral health principlesEducate patients and their families about treatment plans, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choicesCollaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plansMaintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standardsObserve and report changes in patient conditions to registered nurses and physicians promptlyAssist in creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes patient well-being and recoveryMinimum Qualifications:Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practiceStrong understanding of nursing principles and patient education techniquesAbility to comply with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentialityPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of substance abuse and behavioral health careExperience in patient care within a healthcare or recovery settingExperience working specifically in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment facilitiesCertification in addiction counseling or related recovery support credentialsFamiliarity with electronic health record (EHR) systemsAdditional training in patient mental health assessment and crisis interventionBilingual abilities to support diverse patient populationsWe're officially a Great Place to Work®!
