Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a day shift assignment requiring NBRC RRT certification, NY license, and labor and delivery/neonatal resuscitation experience.

Details

• Respiratory Care Services unit at a community hospital
• Works with inpatients and outpatients of all ages with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
• Can perform respiratory care duties in all areas of the hospital
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30a-6:30p
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• NBRC RRT certification required
• NY state license required
• Associate's degree in an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Labor and Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience required
• Critical care proficiency required
• License required if applicable
• Permanent address must match Driver's License or State ID and will be validated during compliance
• Candidates with a permanent address in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties will not be considered

Additional Information

• Performs cardio-pulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, life support, and patient/family/public education
• Follows established protocols or physician prescriptions for patient care
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
