Associate Attorney – Litigation, Personal Injury & Creditors Rights

An established and growing Alpharetta law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our practice.

Our firm handles a diverse caseload with a primary focus on creditors’ rights and collections, civil litigation, and personal injury matters. We are looking for an attorney who wants hands-on experience, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to grow professionally and financially with the firm.

The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to manage files, communicate directly with clients, negotiate with opposing parties and counsel, attend hearings, take depositions, participate in litigation, and help move cases from intake through resolution.

Depending upon experience, responsibilities may include:

• Managing collection and creditors’ rights matters
• Handling post-judgment collection proceedings
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, demands, and correspondence
• Appearing at hearings and other court proceedings
• Negotiating settlements and payment arrangements
• Assisting with and managing personal injury cases
• Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and other parties
• Evaluating cases and developing strategies for resolution
• Taking increasing responsibility for a caseload as experience develops

Who We Are Looking For

We are more interested in finding the right attorney than someone with a particular number of years of experience.

This position could be a strong fit for a newer attorney looking for substantial hands-on experience or an attorney with several years of practice who wants greater responsibility and opportunity.

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia
• Intelligent, organized, dependable, and professional
• Comfortable communicating with clients and opposing counsel
• Able to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Confident and willing to make decisions
• Interested in litigation and developing courtroom experience
• Comfortable using technology and modern law-office systems
• Motivated to take ownership of cases rather than simply complete assigned tasks
• Interested in building a long-term career with the firm

Prior collections or personal injury experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train a capable attorney who demonstrates good judgment, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly.
