ABOUT OUR GLOBAL ENGINEERING SCIENCES TEAM As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today’s most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries from automotive, construction, consumer products, consumer electronics and medical devices to name a few. Secretariat leverages our diverse technical expertise, and industry knowledge of a variety of structures and products to provide clients with world-class value to identify solutions that drive performance and safety. This position is available in either our Chicago or New York office. RESPONSIBILITIES Exceptional analytical skills, problem solving, communication skills, and creativity are the foundation for successful professionals at Secretariat. Attracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and or strategic consulting Contributing to the growth of Secretariat’s Electrical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff Mentoring and driving growth of Electrical Engineering staff Providing project management and project budget oversight QUALIFICATIONS Established track recordfor business development and existing client-base Requisite professional degrees and ~3-4years of work experience: Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science & Engineering Excellent verbal and written communication Havesupported within depositions, trials, arbitrationsor hearings Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills The desire to lead, auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice within a rapidly growing firm The ability to travelgloballyasneeded. Experience with Power electronics, Industrial process control, consumer products, circuit analysis, control system is a plus The ability to work odd hours to adjusttoclient needs globally At Secretariat, we believe in pay transparency and equity.
