Active Directory System Administrator

Our large transportation-industry client based in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Active Directory System Administrator to facilitate the review and securing of Service Accounts within our Enterprise directory. This is a remote contract role that requires knowledge and expertise in administering both on-premises AD infrastructure and a robust Azure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the review and securing of Service Accounts within the Enterprise directory
• Assign owners and configure Group Managed Service Accounts (GMSA)
• Onboard to BeyondTrust and configure interactive logon settings
• Implement a process to alert owners of password expiry

Requirements:

• Experience with AD Service Account administration and the different ways they can be implemented and managed
• Familiarity with Microsoft Group Managed Service Accounts (GMSA)
• Knowledge of BeyondTrust Password Safe and how it can be used for Service Accounts
• Understanding of basic server administration and how Service Accounts are utilized
• Strong collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as an Active Directory System Administrator
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or BeyondTrust certification
