Job Type: Full Time WhatYou’llDo The Warehouse Driver is the face of the World Electric, driving a company provided truck (24’ state body truck) to transport materials to our valued customers. This position’s responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. You will: Operate a motorvehiclein a safe manner, following all state and federal laws and regulations. Communicate with sales associates ormanagerthrough problem solving to meet customer needs. Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates. Ensuretruck isin safe operating condition andmaintainsa clean appearance. Ability tofrequentlylift,carry,push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to50lbs. Load and unload trucks with equipment Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery. Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.This includesfollowingSafety Procedures and wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Perform other duties as assigned. Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements. Removing gates from flatbed trucks Occasionally,mayberequiredto lift items greater than 75lbs withassistance.
