Infectious Disease Physician

Locums Infectious Disease coverage in Indiana with outpatient clinic hours only, Monday through Friday. This need includes light phone call for assigned patients with a defined response expectation.

Highlights

• Outpatient clinic only schedule, Monday through Friday: September 28th thru October 2nd October 19th thru October 23rd
• Light call, assigned patients only, typically 1 to 2 phone consults with 24 hour response time
• Specific coverage blocks in late September and October
• Will consider physicians pending licensure with an active IMLC LOQ

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Infectious Disease clinic
• Volume runs about 20 to 30 patients per shift
• Support includes RN, MA, and APP
• Connected to a level 2 trauma center

Schedule

• Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
• No in house shift coverage listed, clinic only
• Call is for assigned patients, 24 hour response time

Cases and Procedures

• Required, management of vascular access devices and central venous catheters
• Preferred, microscopic specimen evaluation
• Preferred, intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents
• Preferred, aspiration of abscess

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Infectious Disease
• Indiana license required, will wait with active IMLC LOQ only
• BLS required
