Financial Analyst II

Financial Analyst Duties and Responsibilities Detailed accounting of customer‑directed supplier processes with emphasis on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Support compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (Section 404) and Business Operating System. Remain steadfast in the pursuit of information required to complete assigned responsibilities in a complex, fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Complete journal entries and account reconciliations for three separate legal entities. Support the annual profit plan and monthly outlook/forecast for three separate legal entities. Support protection of the environment, personal safety, prevention of pollution, and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System. Provide leadership to the Finance team in preventing accidents and ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA/TCEQ standards; continuously monitor the workplace for hazardous environmental, health, and safety conditions. Correct, eliminate, or guard environmental, health, or safety hazards related to the Finance team. Assess engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment on an ongoing basis. Assist in the investigation of accidents. Exercise authority to stop and prevent unsafe actions, stop the use of unsafe equipment or tools, stop work, and/or have employees leave a work area. Customer Requirements Must understand and comply with all applicable Customer Specific Requirements (SQAM). Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting or equivalent. Two (2) or more years of accounting/financial experience in a manufacturing environment. CMA, CPA, or MBA a plus. Relevant experience, training, or education may be considered. Other Skills and Abilities Familiarity with appropriate software programs. Ability to create visual aids for communication. PC‑based software knowledge including word‑processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email systems. Familiarity with HFM, MFG/Pro, SAP, and Monarch or similar ERP preferred. Effective presentation of information to top management. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals and financial reports. Ability to respond to inquiries from customers and management.
