Responsibilities The physical therapist evaluates, plans, and implements rehab programs to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, boost strength, and prevent or correct deformities. Services are delivered cost‑effectively with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction while adhering to all regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians to develop, evaluate, and update treatment programs, care plans, goals, and discharge plans based on the patient’s physical therapy needs. Implement and adjust physical therapy treatment plans. Select appropriate activities to help patients achieve their goals. Provide ongoing education and training to patients and families. Give discharge instructions and referrals to community resources as needed. Sserve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and each session according to departmental guidelines. Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and dress code policies, including wearing an ID badge. Use materials and equipment safely and cost‑effectively and follow infection prevention protocols. Lead with vision, technology, innovation, and excellent customer service. Participate in the orientation and training of new employees. Fulfill all mandatory hospital and system requirements. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Effective communication skills, customer service focused, team oriented, and basic computer skills.
