Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

License: Active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is a plus.


Must-Have:
- Experience with EPIC EMR.
- Comfort caring for patients with Stroke, Cardiovascular issues, COPD, Congestive Heart Failure, and COVID.
- 24 months of current Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Med/Tele experience.


Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical-Surgical care.
The role involves working 12-hour night shifts.
A commitment to work every other weekend is required.
Nurses will care for a maximum of five patients at a time.
The unit cares for a variety of patient types, including those with stroke issues, heart failure, and COVID.
Nursing staff should have recent experience to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential for patient outcomes.
Compassion and effective communication with patients and their families are crucial in this role.
