As a Security Officer Technology Site in Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access awareness across the site. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings work areas parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials when required and support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site protocols.
• Communicate with staff and management regarding security-related concerns policy questions and/or changing site conditions while maintaining professionalism during daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
