Job Full Description

Perform "Beginning of Shift" activities as prescribed in QC procedure CRB 001.


• On the prescribed schedule and using established procedures, measure the physical properties of tape and spun yarn, fiber, sliver, and woven fabric and report results to the appropriate operational personnel and the Shift Supervisor.


• On the prescribed schedule and using established procedures, measure the width of secondary backing fabrics and the pick line straightness of guideline fabrics and record the results on the forms located on the weaving machine. Report results to the Shift Supervisor.


• Identify any non-conformances that occur and, using established procedures, immediately take the appropriate measures to ensure corrective actions are taken. Verify the effect of the corrective actions and continue to follow up on the issue until the non-conforming property has been brought into specification.


• Accurately complete all required documentation.


• Maintain safe working conditions and work safely at all times.


• Maintain housekeeping.
