About the Role

Instant is investing aggressively in building a predictable, scalable pipeline engine to support the company's growth targets. The Demand Generation Manager will be a foundational hire on that effort, owning the strategy and hands-on execution of integrated demand generation programs that fill the top and middle of the funnel with qualified opportunities. As a member of the Marketing team, you will partner daily with multiple teams, including sales to have direct accountability for pipeline volume, quality, and velocity, not just top-of-funnel activity metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the demand generation strategy and calendar across paid, owned, and earned channels — including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, content syndication, webinars, email/lifecycle nurture, and account-based marketing (ABM) — to build qualified pipeline against Instant's growth targets.
• Design, launch, and continuously optimize multi-channel campaigns targeting HR, payroll, total rewards, and operations decision-makers at large, hourly-workforce employers (hospitality, retail, QSR, transportation/logistics, staffing).
• Partner with the SVP, Sales to define and refine lead scoring, MQL/SQL criteria, and service-level agreements (SLAs) between marketing and sales, ensuring a tight, accountable handoff.
• Build and manage nurture programs that move leads efficiently through the funnel and improve conversion rates at each stage.
• Manage the demand generation budget and marketing technology stack (marketing automation, CRM, intent data, analytics) to maximize pipeline return on spend.
• Stand up and manage account-based marketing programs targeting named strategic accounts in partnership with enterprise sales.
• Own reporting and attribution for demand generation performance — pipeline sourced/influenced, cost per lead/opportunity, funnel conversion, and channel ROI — and run a disciplined test-and-learn approach to keep improving results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, HR tech, or payroll/benefits technology, with a track record of building pipelines against a quota.
• Hands-on experience running and optimizing paid digital programs, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, plus experience with content syndication and/or ABM platforms.
• Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and HubSpot (CRM) including nurture flows, lead scoring, and reporting.
• Strong quantitative fluency — comfortable owning funnel metrics and using data to prioritize and defend investment decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable partnering closely with sales leadership and being measured on pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• Preferred: Experience selling into HR, payroll, benefits, or total rewards buyers, or into hourly-workforce, multi-location employers; experience scaling demand generation at an early- or growth-stage company; familiarity with intent data tools (e.g., 6sense, Clearbit, ZoomInfo).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a relevant discipline required.
