What You'll Do
- Deliver expert nursing care to telemetry patients, utilizing the nursing process within regulatory standards
- Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormal findings promptly
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Assess patient needs, implement care plans, and provide patient education
- Document care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Exercise clinical judgment to prioritize patient safety and well-being
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
